My sister told me this story... listen, it's saddening...
There was once a girl named Jen. She's 12 that year. She had contracted cancer and was treated, luckily. Although she was treated, she was still very weak. Her mum forbid her to go out of her house. One day, she was playing with her toy koala bear, and it dropped and rolled to the road nearby. She knew she could not go and get it, but Ken, living next door, walked the road and picked up the koala bear and passed back to Jen.
And after that, they were the best of friends. They wear best friends till high school, when Ken suddenly changed totally. Ken always joke around with Jen, and makes her angry for no reason. A few days later, when Jen was in love with a schoolmate, Robert, Robert asked her whether she would like to go out with him. Just then, Ken appeared of nowhere and said: "Jen sleeps with her lights on and is afraid!!!!!". After listened to that, Robert walked off immediately without hesitation. Jen was too angry then. Ken told her: "I.... I... I... was just joking with you only...". Jen, totally frustrated, said to Ken: "I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN IN MY LIFE! GET LOST!"
She was too angry to see how sad Ken was.
That night, her cancer had relapsed again. It was liver cancer this time. She needed a transplant. Jen's eyed then closed in the surgery. In her dream, she saw Ken, waving goodbye to her, with a smile. Then, she woke up and saw her mum. She said: "Mum, where's Ken???????? Where's KEN!!!!!". Her mum replied: "You needed a liver transplant, he donated his to you and died. One can't live without a liver..." Jen then BURST into tears. Then she remembered telling Ken that day that "I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN IN MY LIFE! GET LOST!". She was really sad. She went to Ken's grave and stood in front and told him: "I love you, Ken.".
Even i read this i was so sad!!
This story teaches us that: "Never say regretful words to friends/loved ones, the person ending up with regrets in the end is still ourselves".
